Aireborough Swimming Club aims to adopt a friendly, inclusive, safe environment, so that members can enjoy their training.
The club is affiliated with Swim England and adopts the Safeguarding Policy and Procedures outlined in their Wavepower Document, which highlights the current Safeguarding guidance. All members or parents of members are advised to be familiar with the document, and please contact the club welfare officer if there are any concerns.

As per the Wavepower guidance, all club volunteers who work directly with members undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and have up to date Swim England Safeguarding training.

In accordance with Swim England Policy since 2024, there must be NO mobile phone use in changing rooms before, during or after any activities relating to the club. This is to protect members, their parents and guardians and volunteers. We respectfully ask that anyone associated with the club is compliant with this guidance.
